Roman horreum

The Narbonne Horreum is the only monument of Roman times still visible in the town today. Constructed at the end of the 1st century BC, its strange underground galleries were undoubtedly used as a storage depot. Five metres under the ground visitors will get a real sense of Narbo Martius, capital of the province of Narbonne.
