Unspoiled landscape

Since antiquity, the land around Narbonne has always been covered with vineyards. Meet the local producers while touring one of the oldest vine plantations in the world, in the heart of the  La Clape massif  conservation area (once an island) and Fontfroide. Wine was once exported to the Roman port of Ostia from the port of Narbonne, which was at the time on a gulf of the open sea. The gulf has since transformed into the étangs de Bages-Sigean.
