Narbonne is cultural, natural and winemaking heritage all rolled together - more than 21 centuries of it, in the middle of a Regional Natural Park.

You'll discover 2500 years of history among the old stones of the heart of town while wandering under your own steam, or with a guide or audioguide…


At the gates of  Narbo Martius in a sparkling light with all the colours of a protected, varied and authentic natural environment, visible to anyone able to open their eyes and their soul !

Pleasure seekers will wish to tour our venerable vineyards, in teh footsteps of the people who fashioned the land down the ages. Discover the beautiful cistercian abbey of Fontfroide, amid its vines and roses, whose history is wedded to that of the Languedoc region.

Culture lovers, nature lovers and fine food & wine lovers - come and taste Narbonne on foot, on horseback, by bike or by boat !

-   In summer, check for fire risks in the hills and countryside
-   Dress correctly (shoes/boots, hat, clothing adapted to the season and the weather forecast)
